In 2022 our school had a review conducted by external experienced educators trained in the use of the National School Improvement Tool, a nationally recognised framework for reviewing teaching and learning. The process involved reviewers looking closely at the school's performance data and speaking with a wide range of staff, students, parents and community members to get an accurate picture of the school.
The school improvement review aligns with the Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) Strategic Plan 2021 – 2025 and the School Improvement Review Project which involves the review all BCE schools. The benefit of the school review for our school was it provided a comprehensive evaluation of targeted areas of school improvement, aligned to BCE's strategic priorities.
The School Improvement Review Report features independent feedback, tailored to our context and needs. As a school we will use the review findings to work with the school community and BCE to develop clear actions to move the school forward.
